Why do you need to register ?  
This site was created with the intention of helping classmates reconnect. By registering with your name, (school and class year in the "INTERESTS" field) others may contact you (by email, private message, or posting) without exposing your email address. (Also, unfortunately, not everyone on the internet is polite and mature, we need some control, especially with spammers. Thank you for understanding.)

When you REGISTER, you will get an e-mail with a LINK which you MUST click on to CONFIRM your registration. If you do not do this, you will NOT be registered. Your name will appear in the list, but you will NOT be able to post.   (This may not be the case if the forum is "Moderated". If it is "Moderated", the Administrator will need to confirm your registration.)

          The email will contain;
Subject: " ACTIVATE   DELHAAS.COM   FORUM  MEMBERSHIP  NOW "
along with your "account information" and "activation link". 

  You will receive a CONFIRMATION email when registered.

  ATTENTION !   If you have "anti-spam" software make sure it will accept,   ADMIN@DELHAAS.COM   email address.  This also applies to AOL users. If your email from this forum is rejected by your mail server you may be deleted from this web site.

          Registration here in the FORUMS is SEPARATE from registration in the Alumni Database, although you can register (in the Forums) using the same name and password if you like.   

          PLEASE NOTE; When registering please use your "real name" in order to connect with classmates.

* REUNIONS
Please enter your  CLASS YEAR and SCHOOL   to help reunion organizers.

* PRIVACY
          ADDITIONAL NOTE: When you first REGISTER or update your PROFILE, the "show your e-mail button" option DOES NOT SHOW YOUR ACTUAL E-MAIL ADDRESS.   It only allows the "E-MAIL BUTTON" to be shown so you can get e-mail from Forum Members without anyone seeing your address.   The MSN, YM, and AIM on the other hand will be visible.

When you send an email through the forum, your email address will be in the "from" field.   If you want to contact someone without your email being in the "from" field, use "Private Message".   Your message will identify you by your name, only.

* PASSWORDs
          Keep in mind, if you forget your password in the ALUMNI Database you can have it e-mailed to you, but in the FORUMS you may need to create a NEW password if you forget. 

          Your Forums  PASSWORD is "ENCRYPTED" so NO ONE can accidentally or intentionally see it by any means!

The ALUMNI Database password is NOT encrypted, therefore, do NOT use the same password that you use for financial transactions or online purchases. 

          LINKS are NOT automatically underlined, but are TEAL in color.    Please enter "City LOCATION".
